The government have set out tough targets to reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfill each year. That's why the cost of 'straight to landfill' waste will continue to rise. The standard 'per tonne' rate is set to rise £8 per year until 2013, so one of the most effective ways of reducing your waste bill is to recycle as much as possible and keep your 'straight to landfill' waste to a minimum.
Other waste disposal companies charge a flat fee for each sack or bin lift, irrespective of your bin weight which means companies who are making an effort to recycle dont get rewarded. Once you have signed up to our service, it doesn't stop there. We will provide you with a monthly breakdown of your 'landfill weight' and help you to get this to a minimum. One of our waste consultants will be in touch to help you maximise your recyclate and minimise your waste, which is our main aim! With our reports you will be able to see at a glance how much landfill waste you are producing and how your charges compare to previous months.
